These guys are our podcast Dads! If it wasn't for Matt Donnelly, Paul Mattingly and Jacob Smith Hey Buddy, Nice Podcast wouldn't be a thing. Penn's Sunday School

If Ice Cream Social are our podcast dads, then technically speaking Penn's Sunday School are our podcast Grandads. We can dream right? Not only does Brogan do the artwork for the postcards that get sent to Penn's patrons each month, they even managed to be on an episode of Sunday School! How fucking awesome is that?!?! Wayne is writing this description and is holding back the jealousy that runs through his veins from spewing out on to this page. You can listen to this episode here:

Piff Pod

Piff the Magic Dragon is a genuine mythical creature. Along with the amazing Miss Jade Simone and Mr Piffles (the world's first (only?) magic performing chihuahua). Piff has a hilarious magic show at the Flaming Hotel and Casino in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and also tours.

Wayne would like to consider himself friends with Piff and Jade but feels unworthy of the title, even if Jade says he is family. It all came about when he started making comics based on Piff and co, which they loved. It was adopted as the Official Piff The Magic Dragon comic and Wayne still can't believe it. He also can't believe he got to be on Piff's show! See it here:

Pod Therapy

Pod Therapy with Dr Jim Jobin, a.k.a Lord Mr Dr Jimothy Jobtholumue and Nick Tangeman is an R-Rated question & answer show with two real therapists on a mission to destigmatize mental health. Two totally relatable and genuine people, they make you feel like good friends, even if we've only spend less than a weekend in each other's presence (Vegas, naturally). The Magic of podcasts, huh?

Also, there probably hasn't been an episode of Hey Buddy, Nice Podcast where Dr Jim has not been brought up in conversation. He holds this honor with the totally and completely real Matt Donnelly.

The Whoscoops Podcast

The Whoscoops Podcast is run, recorded, edited and posted by friend of Brogan and Wayne, Chris, a.k.a Chris The Micro Scoop. It's an Ice Cream Social adjacent show that focuses on interviewing listeners of ICS, referred to as "Scoops".

Both Wayne and Brogan have been interviewed by Chris before any of them had even met in person. This solidified a guaranteed friendship when the trio did meet in Las Vegas at Scoopfest 2022. You can listen to the episodes below:

Great Night

Great Night is hosted by Brian Brushwood and Justin Robert Young. These guys are great, and frankly, podcast royalty. Along with other shows, such as World's Greatest Con and Politics, Politics, Politics, The two are always showing face at Scoop events, even if it's just to beat the ICS boys at trivia.

They are also responsible for legitimately kidnapping Brogan & Wayne upon meeting for the first time at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas (Seeing a trend here?) and sneaking them into the super exclusive event "Jacob's Whiskey and BBQ party".

Brogan has done art for the boys and they always are extremely supportive. We love those guys!

Two Characters & A Clown

Two Characters & A Clown is a show that features three Las Vegas superstars. We certainly see them as superstars. RJ Owens (Uncle RJ), Jimmy Slonina and Johnny Miles are the standout, non-acrobatic performers in the Las Vegas institution that is Mystère by Cirque du Soleil. RJ is the central baby character, Johnny the Ringmaster character and Jimmy as the clown. Together they make the show. Trust us, we saw it!

RJ is an absolute darling, embracing both Brogan and Wayne, even if he didn't realise he was THAT Wayne until their final meeting last time in Vegas. Also having been on the same episode of ICS as Jimmy, Wayne is certain they are super best friends now.
